Summary of Content: Cosigned by Christopher Robinson and Silas Helme as witnesses. Legal document signed by James Perry Jr. that he received 635 pounds, 5 shillings and "One Negro Girl Named Lucy" from William Potter, the executor of the estate of Perry's mother Marcy Potter. Also says that he received his daughter Mary Perry's part of the inheritance as her natural guardian. Red wax seal next to James Perry's signature.
